Toyota Hiace Grand Cabin

The long-body, high-roof Hiace is Japan's workhorse silhouette, kept to fleet standard — clean, current and unremarkable in the best way. Wide door, sturdy step, and a body that shrugs off a fully loaded week.

The interior

Inside the cabin

Interior view of the Toyota Hiace Grand Cabin seating rows

A bright, functional cabin: three rows of three with grab handles, big windows and honest comfort rather than lounge theatrics. It is the vehicle we send when the whole party — and everything they packed — must move together, comfortably and without fuss.

Seat layout

Where everyone sits

Ten seats: one beside the chauffeur and three rows of three in the long cabin. Seats are upright and comfortable for city and airport distances; for hours-long expressway days with a small party, the Luxury Hi-Ace or Sprinter rest better.

What the compartment holds

The rear bay of the long body takes about eight large cases and ten carry-ons — and every seat left empty adds stacking room. Ten guests with full luggage is tight; tell us the true case count and we confirm one vehicle or two.

Figures are a conservative guide for full-size airline luggage — send your exact case count and we confirm the fit before the day.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Can ten passengers really travel with all their luggage?+

Ten with carry-ons, yes. Ten with a large case each is honest-answer territory: the bay takes about eight, so we either run nine guests, stack a row, or add a second vehicle. We ask for the case count up front for exactly this reason.

Is the Grand Cabin a luxury vehicle?+

It is a dependable one — clean, current and comfortable, but built for capacity rather than lounge seating. Parties wanting recliners at this size should look at the Sprinter; the Grand Cabin's talent is moving ten people gracefully on a sensible budget.

Which trips suit the Grand Cabin best?+

Airport runs for large parties, city days where the group moves as one, and tour legs where luggage rides along. For multi-hour expressway days it works, but comfort-first parties often split into two smaller vehicles.
