Fujisan Onsen Bessho SASA offers 17 rooms, completed renovation in June 2014. There are 3 types of rooms, Mizuho, Fukuchi and Asumi. Mizuho and Asumi are ideal for those who want to enjoy a private and relaxed atmosphere with 2 to 3 people. Fukuchi is a larger space with a capacity of 5 people, and a decked terrace with a wide sense of openness. All accommodations offer separate living rooms and are equipped with an open-air bath and are located with a view of Mount Fuji.

Right next to the Fuji-Q Highland, there is a modern hot spring facility, Fujiyama Onsen. The bath house features nice, traditionally styled wooden baths and offers both indoor and outdoor baths segregated by gender.
Mt. Fuji Panorama Ropeway (7 km)

The Mount Fuji Panoramic Ropeway ascends 400 meters from the eastern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko to an observation deck near the peak of Mount Tenjo. You can enjoy the panoramic views of the lake Kawaguchiko below and of Mount Fuji from the observation deck, which sits more than 1000 meters above sea level.
Apart from taking the ropeway, hiking is another option to descend. It takes about 30 minutes from the observation deck down the forested mountain slope, while a different trail leads to a small shrine 300 meters uphill, located at the summit of Mount Tenjo. From there the trail continues on to Mount Mitsutoge, a popular day hike with good views of Mount Fuji.
Lake Kawaguchiko (10 km)

Lake Kawaguchiko is the most easily accessible of the Fuji Five Lakes with train and direct bus connections to Tokyo. Located right at the base of Mount Fuji, the best views of Mount Fuji can be enjoyed from the lake’s northern shores. It will be a memorable trip to visit during Cherry blossom season around April, or early November, when autumn starts and maple trees covering the road.
Kawaguchi Asama Shrine (9.2 km)

Kawaguchi Asama Shrine is one of approximately 1,300 Asama shrines in Japan that enshrine the deity of volcanoes in general and Mount Fuji in particular. The shrine is part of the Mt. Fuji UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, designated in 2013.
Lake Saiko (17 km)

Lake Saiko is the second smallest of the Fuji Five Lakes, with a maximum water depth of 71.7 meters, which is the second deepest one among the five lakes. It is surrounded by steep, wooded slopes on all sides, and Mount Fuji is visible only from the westernmost tip of the lake.
