Japan Royal Service arranges a privately chauffeured Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with six VIP passenger seats in the rear lounge and one separate front passenger seat. This is a small-group luxury cabin, not a standard 9-, 12- or 15-passenger touring van. The driver speaks Japanese only. Our team can coordinate your booking in English and arrange an English-speaking guide or interpreter separately.

For a ten-hour charter within Tokyo, the service starts at JPY 350,000, before consumption tax and other expenses. We confirm the actual vehicle, date, route, chauffeur and total quote in writing before your reservation is secured.

A private lounge for six — plus a separate front seat

Six guests can sit in the main VIP lounge behind the driver. A seventh person may use the separate front passenger seat, subject to the vehicle assigned; this is not a seventh lounge seat. If an English-speaking tour guide travels in the Sprinter, the guide uses one of the available guest seats. For a premium experience we recommend planning around six people in the rear VIP cabin.

The cabin offers reclining seats, privacy curtains and a movable partition separating the chauffeur from the rear lounge. We verify the features of the assigned vehicle rather than promise amenities that may differ between vehicles.

How much luggage fits?

Unlike a standard long-body people carrier, this VIP conversion prioritises passenger seating and comfort. Plan for a maximum of three large suitcases in the Sprinter, subject to the size of each bag and a loading check. Carry-on baggage capacity is not guaranteed.

Traveling with four, five or six large cases, shopping bags or equipment? Japan Royal Service can arrange one additional Toyota HiAce to carry luggage, charged separately. The passengers can continue in the VIP Sprinter while their bags travel in the support vehicle. Tell us the exact baggage count and dimensions so the second vehicle can be priced and confirmed.

Tokyo full-day charter: from JPY 350,000 for 10 hours

The starting rate covers the private Sprinter and its Japanese-speaking chauffeur for a 10-hour Tokyo charter. Consumption tax and all extra costs are charged separately, including expressway tolls, parking, overtime, requested guide or interpreter, a luggage HiAce, and other necessary trip expenses. A formal written quote will show your itinerary and inclusions; no specific date or vehicle is automatically held by viewing this page.

A Tokyo airport pickup, a private executive day, a discreet family sightseeing program or a special event transfer can be discussed individually. For requests that do not fit a ten-hour charter, ask our concierge for a tailored quotation rather than assuming a short-transfer price.

What about Tokyo to Kyoto or Osaka?

If you wish to take the Sprinter onward to Kyoto, Osaka or another distant city, an additional full-day vehicle relocation / transfer charge applies on top of the regular charter charge. All expenses are extra, including expressway tolls, parking, any necessary driver accommodation, route-related operating expenses and other actual charges. Vehicle and chauffeur availability, the travel schedule, legally required driving/rest time and any return positioning are checked individually. We provide the full costs before booking.

For many guests, the Shinkansen with a different vehicle at the destination may be more efficient. We can compare options without compromising the private-travel experience.

Who this Sprinter is best suited to

• VIP families of up to six: an enclosed rear lounge, private sightseeing and hotel-to-hotel travel.
• Executives and visiting delegations: discreet chauffeured transportation, coordinated schedules and optional English-speaking guide.
• Luxury travel advisors and concierge teams: an English-speaking JRS coordination contact, a single clear quotation and concierge handling throughout the itinerary.

This particular VIP layout is not the right choice when you need 9–15 passenger seats or a large luggage bay inside the same vehicle. We can recommend a different arrangement instead.

Frequently asked questions

Can seven guests travel together?

There are six rear VIP lounge seats and one separate front passenger seat. A seventh guest may use the front seat after confirmation; it is not equal to the rear VIP lounge experience.

Will the driver speak English?

No. The Sprinter chauffeur is Japanese-speaking only. Our JRS coordinators can assist in English, and a separate English-speaking guide/interpreter can be quoted.

Can I bring more than three large suitcases?

Not in the VIP Sprinter's planned luggage allowance. A separate Toyota HiAce luggage vehicle is required for larger baggage loads and is quoted separately.

Is ¥350,000 the total cost?

It is the starting base price for a 10-hour Tokyo charter, not an all-inclusive tour price. Tax and all expenses, including any luggage car and intercity relocation, are additional.

Can you arrange the Sprinter to Kyoto, Osaka or elsewhere in Japan?

Yes, we can review a custom intercity request, subject to actual availability and chauffeur/route requirements. An additional full-day relocation charge and all expenses apply to longer city-to-city moves; final terms are confirmed in writing.

Priority reservations are offered to our long-standing members and returning clients. If the vehicle remains available at short notice, we may also be able to accommodate new guests. All requests are subject to an individual availability check.
